The Land & Liberty Coalition® is a growing network of local advocates who believe the future of energy should be shaped by the people who live closest to the land. We are not developers or attorneys; we are farmers, landowners, and community members who support utility-scale renewable energy through informed conversations and grassroots engagement.

Breaking Ground
The Land & Liberty Coalition® was founded in 2019 to give rural landowners, farmers, and community members a stronger voice in the renewable energy conversation.
Harvesting Momentum Across the Midwest
What began as a one-state coalition quickly grew into a multi-state platform. Focusing on expansion across the Midwest, we focused on elevating education and advocacy in rural communities. By year’s end, we had seven active states.
Building on the Horizon
In 2024, we welcomed Nebraska and Georgia into the coalition, extending our grassroots mission and strengthening rural representation in energy development.
